Nicole and Eric chose one of the coolest places to tie the knot. Blumen Gardens in Sycamore, IL is a rare find while driving through a quaint residential area you see this rustic garden shop with a beautiful banquet space. I instantly fell in love with all the amazing greenery and the endless amounts of possibilities for photos.
When I spoke with Nicole over the phone to help guide me through the day's events, she was so easy going and relaxed...working with brides like her is such a delight! All the details mixed with Nicole's beauty made my job an easy one.
My favorite picture of the entire day is always the candid walk down the aisle after they are just announced as "husband and wife". This is the moment where all the nervousness, stress and anxiety melts away and their smiles shine more than ever. These two in particular looked so happy and beautiful swinging their married hands as they made their way down.
They threw a party with only their closest friends and family. Their guests were so warm and inviting. I really enjoyed talking with them and learning how far some of them had traveled to be there for Nicole & Eric's big day. The atmosphere was casual and intimate. It was such a cool and gorgeous summer evening and the garden kept their guests visually stimulated as they made their way to and from the ceremony. You could feel love in the air all night <3 |
Around every corner there was another spot for a photo op. Part of me secretly wished I had another couple hours to spend with these two - but I knew they had to go celebrate. Here are two of my favorite photo spots featured below.
Nicole and Eric had such a cute and playful spirit with one another. I really enjoyed working with them and felt honored to be there on their wedding day. Please join me in saying: Congratulations Nicole & Eric - I hope the years to come are filled with many blessings for you both!
