One of the things I love most about being a photographer is when you connect with people from my past. When Ashley asked me to take photos of her adorable family I was so excited. Her kiddos are so cute, and her little girl is such a sweetie-pie. There was a lot of laughter, hugs and a little snack break for apples :)
Creating images for families to remember these fleeting moments in their children's lives is so special to me. Thank you for inviting me into your lives for a morning!
Being able to share in exciting times of people's lives is why I love what I do. I was honored to spend an afternoon with this adorable family. We headed out to capture the cuteness of their two boys and mom's 37th week of pregnancy. I can't help but smile as I look through this session, especially at the photo of the two boys laying on the bench all tuckered out (last pic).
Congratulations to The Muldowney family who will be greeting their baby to be very soon!
Some times being a photographer is the best excuse to catch up with some old friends. I got to spend an evening with this adorable, blue-eyed family and loved every minute of it. Even after the 3 year old boy had fallen walking to the park and shed some tears - and the sweet baby girl needed a feeding break, we were still able to capture some great moments of this family together.
I couldn't be happier for my dear friend Chris with his beautiful wife and fun loving children. Thank you for inviting me into your lives for an evening of photos :)
The Roach family may have been fighting off colds that had recently swept their household but you wouldn't be able to tell by these pictures. Mom and Dad definitely have their hands full with these energetic triplets. As they tried to tickle out smiles and keep the bunch together I was clicking away catching fun fleeting moments with this adorable family :)
I love being around families like this and creating photos that help commemorate the stages of your lives. Thank you for making some of your family memories with SweetCheeks!
I had the privilege to spend an hour with the Mioni family around Easter time and had an absolute blast peeking at this vivacious group through my lens. They are such a warm and happy family. Here's a peak at what that afternoon brought them in family memories.
It's amazing what can come from a photo session the middle of a field and a drainage ditch :) Thank you all for having me be the one to capture all of you together...especially Lodi [the dog]!
SweetCheeks had donated a 1-hour family session to the EMK Brain Aneurysm Research Foundation golf play day and Patty and her family were the lucky winners. I was excited to work with them and their 3 beautiful little girls as headed to the Baltic Mill in Belvidere, IL for an early AM session this past Sunday.
As you can imagine 2 girls under the age of 2 and a 4-month old baby can make these sessions interesting. However, I was determined to capture as many keeper images as I could for them and I think we managed to get some great shots :)
The image in the upper left has one of their little ones walking away since she thought she was all done taking pictures...dad came and lassoed her because we were really just getting started!
One of Patty's (and my) favorite pictures from the session is the one above when Thalia discovered daddy's eyes...and pointed them out to us all, literally.
We finished up with a few tender moments between mom and the littlest one. They are such a beautiful family, I really hope to work with them again as their 3 beautiful girls grow up to be young women. Thank you to the Tobins for starting my fall family season on a great note!
I received a call from Christine on Sunday asking about scheduling a family session this week. We compared our schedules and quickly found a day that worked for both of us. Two days later we were together and I was clicking away.
The reason it was important to get these pics done was because Jason is being deployed to Afghanistan in one week. I was touched and honored that she contacted me to be the one to capture their family photos.
Although brief, it was great spending a hour with this family on Tuesday. Please send your best wishes for this family as Jason ventures to Afghanistan. Thank you for letting me become a special part of these memories for you <3
