Regina & Eric brought their smiles and great sense of style to the engagement session this past Sunday in Chicago. Mother Nature decided to smile down on us with a cloudless sky and bright sunshine...which has been difficult to find in Illinois this winter. Immediately I could tell that these two had a strong yet playful connection with each other, which makes my task a lot easier! We started our session with their new electric motorcycle...the quietest and coolest bike I have seen! Regina & Eric took turns driving around the neighborhood while I sat in observance of how it wasn't like any motorcycle I had seen. At first glance their neighborhood seemed smack-dab in an industrial park...but had amazing photo spots! We dropped off the bike and headed over to a delightful row of painted murals along the street. Bright pops of color and unique designs offered themselves up for some fun backgrounds. Eric is a wrestler, so it seemed fitting that we choose to use the one below. |
We stopped by the train tracks only 1 block from their home and snagged some fun shots...Regina's red locks looked gorgeous in the sun. Watching them through my lens warmed my heart because I could feel the connection that Regina & Eric have with each other.
They graciously invited me into their home, making sure to get some pics with their two cats. The cats were rather shy...which I'm sure might have been due to the rather large english bulldog named "Lu-Lu" that had been roaming about their palace since they were dog sitting for a friend.
We ended the beautiful afternoon up on their amazing roof-top patio with some city skylined dancing and eskimo kisses. I had such a wonderful afternoon with Regina and Eric and enjoyed them letting me into their lives for one sunny and chill afternoon in the Windy City. Thank you for letting me be a part of your Sunday, I love seeing two people so in love! |
